CSI Training began life in September 2015, when proprietor Susan Short decided to break away from dividing her time between managing care standards within a care home and freelance training, into a full-time training role.
Sue passed her train the trainer exam with distinction in June 2011, and the TQUK Level 3 award in Education and Training (RQF) in January 2018. To date Sue has signed over 7,000 certificates for candidates, across 15 subjects.
.. is simple, training must be informative AND enjoyable, and its delivery must ensure that everybody, irrespective of experience, has opportunities to interact. Wherever possible we use audio and visual aids to make the sessions more interesting and therefore enhance the candidates’ ability to learn.
There are many role-playing opportunities and team working scenarios. Just a trainer talking to a class? Definitely not – and Sue has received a lot of complimentary feedback from managers and candidates alike.
Signed certificates are provided to all candidates in both pdf to save trees.
Full reports that show all training sessions undertaken - the date, the subject and the candidates are available on request, and are especially useful to support compliance at CQC inspections.
The most cost-effective way to utilise CSI training is to book a day in your care home of two sessions.
We have clients all over the South East, and our quotes include travel costs, and we are not registered for VAT – therefore saving you 20%.
Once you have received our fixed-price quotation and wish to arrange some dates, we will send you a list of dates that are still available within the time-frames you require.
Once the dates and subjects are agreed we will send you written confirmation. You can rest assured that it will be Sue who will do the training, as we do not use contracted trainers.
To get the best results from our training we suggest a maximum of 10 people at any session, and for subjects that require practical involvement such as manual Handling and First Aid, up to 8 is ideal.
We bring the AV equipment (laptop and monitor).
All lifting devices you have, and a bed, will be needed for manual handling. We supply a manikin for CPR in First Aid.
